We LOVE our volunteers - because we have such a small staff we rely heavily on the time and talent of our volunteers. Without our volunteers we are not able to offer the services that we feel are vital to supporting our residents, like transportation assistance and babysitting, and we need help with things like cleaning, donation inventory management, and helping with fun events like baby showers and birthday parties. It is not always glamorous and can be hard work, but the work that is done is an essential element to our home's success and truly helps transform the lives of the women and children we serve. 

Areas you can serve:

  • Driving residents to appointments, work, and commitments

  • Babysitting during classes and events

  • House cleaning and maintenance (such as prepping rooms for new residents or handyman work)

  • Office and administrative help

  • Social Media management

  • Event set-up and cleanup

  • Banquet committee

  • Tutoring

  • Faith formation/Bible study

Ready to Start?

Steps to become an EHMH Volunteer: 

1. Fill out this interest form. 
2. Wait for your welcome email with access to our volunteer training website and background check link. 
3. Complete all required training modules and paperwork. Turn in paperwork and documents on our volunteer site. 
4. Wait for an approval email to attend an orientation.  
5. After your orientation, begin volunteering!
